Spark arresting filters are designed to kill sparks before they can cause problems in equipment such as dust collectors, make up air rooftop units and other air filtration equipment. Multiple layers of expanded galvanized steel are enclosed in a heavy weight galvanized steel frame for durability. Spark arresting filters are perfect for welding applications, the heavy steel media and frame is both rust and corrosion resistant. The SAF unique patented media allows for greater accumulation of dirt and dust particles, UL approved for air only.
